Dessn Raises $6M to Bring AI Directly Into Production Design

AI startup Dessn has raised $6 million to build a new kind of AI-powered design platform focused on working directly with production codebases instead of traditional design mockups.

Unlike tools built for generating ideas from scratch, Dessn is targeting teams that already have live products and want to iterate faster using AI. The platform lets developers and designers create and modify interfaces directly from existing code, reducing the gap between design and production.

The startup is positioning itself as an alternative to the classic “design-first” workflow dominated by tools like Figma. Instead of creating static mockups and later translating them into code, Dessn wants AI to work directly inside real applications and repositories.
